At Minehead Day Centre, our participants had a treat of a session — painting clay biscuits they had created in a previous workshop. The session was full of colour, conversation, and laughter as each person decorated their biscuits with unique designs. The best part? Everyone left with something special to show off.
Sessions like these go far beyond just craft. As Occupational Therapists, we design every activity to provide therapeutic value as well as fun. Painting clay shapes supports:

Fine motor skills and hand–eye coordination
Creativity and problem-solving
Mood and confidence, through completing a tangible project
Social interaction, by working alongside others in a shared activity
Our workshops can be tailored to suit all abilities and bring joy, relaxation, and meaningful engagement to groups of all sizes.
