This week marked our first workshop at Youldon House in Dinas Powys — and it was a brilliant start! Sixteen people joined us to create clay tealight holders, filling the room with conversation, laughter, and creativity. Each person shaped their tealight holder in their own unique way, making every piece one of a kind.
We’re excited to return this Wednesday at 2pm for the next stage of the project, when participants will paint and decorate their tealight holders, bringing them to life with colour and design.
If you missed the first session, don’t worry — we’ve prepared extra tealight holders so everyone has the chance to take part.
These workshops are more than just crafts. They are designed with Occupational Therapy benefits in mind, helping to:
Improve fine motor skills and coordination
Encourage creativity and self-expression
Build social connection through shared activities
Provide a sense of achievement and pride in completed work
💷 Sessions are £5 per person, and everyone is welcome.
📍 Join us at Youldon House in Dinas Powys and let your creativity shine!
