Last week at Age Connects, we had a games session that was nothing short of brilliant. Buckaroo, Jenga, and The Logo Game were the stars of the afternoon, and the laughter was non-stop. Towers toppled, pieces flew, and the jokes were endless. It wasn’t just about the games, though—this session was a trip down memory lane.
As we played, conversations turned to childhood games and the fun of playing with grandkids. It was heartwarming to hear stories of marbles, hopscotch, and long-lost board games, sparking smiles and some very competitive rounds of Jenga!

But it wasn’t just fun—it was good for us. The games got everyone thinking, chatting, and moving. From sharpening memory with The Logo Game to working on hand strength with Buckaroo, it was all about gentle cognitive stimulation and a bit of sneaky exercise. Even better, it reminded us of the power of connection and how shared laughter can lift spirits and bring people closer.
We left with full hearts, a few great memories, and plenty of stories to tell. Can’t wait to do it all again!
