We’re delighted to share that Savanna has completed her training and is now a certified Tai Chi Exercise Leader – SET 1

At CwmpasOT, we’re always looking for new ways to support older adults to stay active, connected and independent. Tai Chi is a lovely way to encourage gentle movement, balance, coordination and relaxation, while also providing an opportunity to socialise and enjoy being part of a group.

Where can you join us?

We’re already running some Tai Chi sessions at Youldon House in Dinas Powys, where we enjoy bringing people together to move, have fun and take part in activities at their own pace.

We’re also excited to announce that we’ll shortly be starting Tai Chi classes at the Age Connects Café on Holton Road in Barry, on Thursday mornings. We’ll be taking over the already established Tai Chi group there, and we’re really looking forward to meeting everyone, getting to know the group and continuing to build on what’s already in place.

Our sessions are designed to be welcoming and accessible, with gentle exercises that can be adapted to suit different abilities. Whether you’re new to Tai Chi or have enjoyed it for years, we want everyone to feel comfortable joining in.

At CwmpasOT, we believe that staying active is about more than just physical health. It’s also about maintaining confidence, enjoying meaningful activities and having opportunities to connect with others.

We’re really looking forward to getting started at Age Connects Café and continuing to offer Tai Chi to our local community!
