Today at Thomas Court, our group got creative with a self-portrait painting session. We began by sketching out our faces, taking time to notice our individual features and put them down on paper. Once our outlines were ready, we brought them to life with acrylic paints, experimenting with colour, shading, and expression.
It was wonderful to see everyone fully engaged and enthusiastic, really getting stuck into the activity. The atmosphere was full of concentration, laughter, and encouragement as each person explored their own style. The results were fantastic – a collection of unique and expressive self-portraits that captured personality and creativity.

Art activities like this aren’t just about the finished piece – they offer a chance to relax, express ourselves, and connect with others. Today was a perfect example of how creativity can spark joy and confidence.
