At CwmpasOT, we’re always finding creative ways to bring movement, connection, and joy into people’s daily lives—and this week was no exception!

On the 7th of July, we hosted a multi-activity session featuring seated football, bean bag target toss, and basketball.

We started with gentle warm-ups and stretches to get our bodies moving and minds ready. Seated basketball was first up, then on to football and then bean bag target toss. We laughed, encouraged each other, and even came up with fun team names.

Moments like these are where occupational therapy truly shines. Shared activities like these boost more than just physical coordination—they build confidence, encourage motivation, and support emotional wellbeing (Creek, 2010). Being part of a team and hearing someone cheer you on isn’t just fun—it’s therapeutic.
